Colin Duling was named the Receivers Coach and Recruiting Coordinator at Berry in July of 2017. He took on the responsibility of coaching the quarterbacks beginning in 2018 before being promoted to offensive coordinator following the 2020-21 campaign.


In the shortened 2020-21 season, Duling’s helped the Vikings offense lead the SAA with 243.8 passing yards per game and ranked second in the league in scoring. Quarterback Gavin Gray earned second-team All-SAA honors and freshman wide receiver Cameron Kawa earned first-team accolades.

In 2019, Duling helped the Vikings to another SAA title and also coached Mason Kinsey to a D3football.com All-America nod. Following the season, Kinsey became the first Viking to sign with an NFL team, inking a preferred free agent deal with the Tennessee Titans. He also coached Gavin Gray to an SAA Newcomer of the Year honor.


Duling helped lead the Vikings offense to 33.6 points per game in 2018, second in the league. In 2017, Duling led Mason Kinsey to a conference-best 17 touchdown receptions on the year, as the Vikings averaged 229.9 passing yards on the season, finishing the year with a perfect 8-0 SAA record.


The Clinton, Ill., native joined the Vikings from Division I Northern Illinois University where he served as the Offensive Graduate Assistant for quarterbacks and Offensive Quality Control Specialist for wideouts. While at Northern Illinois, he coached several players to All- Conference honors including Kenny Golladay who was selected in the third round of the 2017 NFL draft by the Detroit Lions and Tommylee Lewis who inked a free agent deal with the New Orleans Saints. In 2015, Duling helped the Huskies to a MAC West Division Title and an appearance in the Poinsettia Bowl.


Prior to Northern Illinois, Duling was an Offensive Graduate Assistant at Southwest Minnesota State University where he received his Master’s of Physical Education in Coaching. He helped the 2013 squad to a top five offense and a bowl appearance. Duling completed his undergraduate degree at Illinois College where he had a strong career as a wide receiver. He compiled over 100 receptions for better than 1,500 yards and 13 touchdowns in his career. He helped his team to the NCAA Division III playoffs in 2011 for the first time in program history and was a member of the winningest class in school history upon graduation. Duling was also a three-time Midwest Conference All-Academic team selection.
